• For both cotton and wood wick candles, burn your candle for at least 2 hours on the first use.  When burning for the first time, allow the wax to melt to the edge of the container.

• Trim the candle wick before each use to 1/4 inch for cotton wicks.

• For wood wicks, the candle will take longer to light.  You will need to hold the lighter to the wood wick for 1 to 2 minutes to ensure it lights.  Ensure wood wicks are clean before re-lighting and short (suggested length 1/4 inch).
